Costume Gallery and Art Stone are Delanco, NJ based designers, manufacturers and distributors of dance costumes. We are seeking a Creative Services Coordinator to join our Marketing team. The Creative Services Coordinator produces and copywrites in-print and digitally to manage content and ensure a strong and consistent message is delivered across all platforms, driving the company's sales growth and increasing brand awareness.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Photo Shoots and Catalog Production

  • Work with cross-functional teams and leadership to build and execute a work plan that leads to successfully produced catalogs.
  • Schedule models, photographers, videographers, hair stylists, make-up artists and posers. Coordinate with designers on available costumes for each shoot to book the perfect model to represent the style.
  • Work closely with finance and management to manage a seasonal photo shoot and catalog budget.
  • Post photo shoot, organize files for external and internal use.
  • Work with graphic designer and cross-functional team for accurate information, content and layout.
  • Write copy that adheres to the brand style guide and to company standards.
  • Schedule internal review of proofs, copy and catalog layout with marketing, merchandising and design teams.
  • Ensure consistency in design of seasonal price list, accessories representation and look books with the seasonal catalog.  
  • Provide input in design of catalog, including swipe, concepts and inspiration.

Website

  • Work with graphic designer to translate catalog and overall brand image to Costume Gallery and Art Stone websites. 
  • Organize image files and catalog copy for placement on website.
  • Ensure design consistency from catalog to website design.
  • Refresh and update website content during development and ongoing through the season as appropriate with the intent to increase sales and brand awareness.
  • Manage website media marketing including content and placement videos, newsletter, blogs, events, etc.
  • Track key site metrics and work closely with the broader marketing team to analyze findings, identify trends and recommend a course of action.
  • Write headlines and copy that adhere to the brand style guide and to company standards.

Social Media Marketing

  • Create, design and maintain information about Costume Gallery and Art Stone on social networks including Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr, Google +, Linked-in and You-Tube. Work with management on creation and implementation of social network strategy.
  • Work closely with management to develop a seasonal strategy and lead implementation on all social initiatives that support key marketing objectives.
  • Analyze campaign effectiveness through analysis and make recommendations on future campaigns to optimize resources and identify missed opportunities.
  • Manage a marketing and social media calendar that is distributed weekly to key partners.

Marketing Collateral

  • Write, edit and proof copy for all Costume Gallery and Art Stone collateral, ensuring all customer facing elements are on-brand and consistent across all platforms.
  • Coordinate with graphic designers to finalize and archive artwork for magazine ads, direct mailers, trade show booth and other marketing efforts consistent with corporate goals.

Customer Appreciation Events

  • Manage the strategic planning, execution and oversight of all customer appreciation events, including but not limited to venue site, contract negotiations, vendor management, run of show, staffing schedules, attendee list and marketing collateral.

Required Education and Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing or related field is required. 
  • Two to four years of marketing experience, preferably in the dance or related arts field.  

Required Skills:

  • Strong writing skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills. 
  • Detail orientated, meticulous organization, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have the ability to manage aggressive timelines with a 'can-do' attitude.
  • Working knowledge of catalog production processes.
  • Must be able to interact and with all levels of management/leadership and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Have an appreciation of dance and Costume Gallery history, current business and future.
  • Must have a strong understanding of social media platforms such as blogs, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, etc. 
  • Ability to travel to events, trade shows and auditions as necessary.
  • Ability to work both independently as well as lead a group to complete projects. 
  • Ability to take corrective criticism and critique and apply corrections in a professional manner.

 Physical Demands:

  • Lift up to 25lbs.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, noise, feathers, and particles.
  • Travel is required for this position.
